Headquartered in Austin, JOYRIDE Sweets was established in 2022 by Founder Tyler Merrick with the mission to provide better-for-you candy that is vegan, low sugar, low carb, and non-GMO. In 2024, YouTube sensation Ryan Trahan joined the small but mighty JOYRIDE team as Co-Owner and Chief Creative Officer. In collaboration with Merrick, Trahan spearheaded product development, packaging, and merchandise creation to innovate the candy category and bring JOYRIDE Sour Strips to the market.
