It was a love of food that brought us together. For Zoe, it was growing up on the family farm in Junee that inspired her passion for healthy, farm-fresh ingredients. For me, like many Lebanese families, food is about lovingly prepared recipes passed down through generations. Now, raising a young family of our own in Wagga Wagga NSW, we’re pursuing our dream. Sharing delicious, nutritious and convenient meals with other busy Aussie families. Join our Farm Door community for food and wellbeing inspiration, stories from the farm and news of our rural wellness experiences. We are grateful to the indigenous custodians of our region where we grow, cook and prepare our meals, the Wiradjuri people. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and continuing connection with the local land and rivers that feed us. |

‘Mrs C's’ is not just some name we came up with. There is in fact a real Mrs C, who has been making our secret recipe crispy chilli oil for as long as she can remember. The recipe was passed down to her by her mother, who learnt it from her mother, who learnt it from her mother, who … well, you get the idea. You could ask Mrs C for the recipe, but it wouldn’t help you much because she makes it by touch, taste and feel. A ‘pinch’ of salt, a ‘slosh’ of oil – that kind of thing. And not a measuring cup in sight. Most importantly, Mrs C makes her crispy chilli oil with love. Love of food, family and friends. And now you can share the love too. |
