Fresh Fizz Sodas is the product of a collaboration between husband and wife team Yoni and Rebecca Schwartz. Yoni loves mixing up drinks and tinkering in the kitchen, and originally planned to start a canned cocktail business. While waiting for New York State to approve the necessary alcohol manufacturing licenses, he started making cocktail-inspired sodas and sharing them with friends and family. Our commitment to using only real food ingredients and no processed sugars comes from Rebecca's interest in maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle for the whole family. We saw an opportunity to bring these clean-label sodas to market and Fresh Fizz was born! |

Born in Cypress Hall, a small town high atop the Red Hills of Kingston, Jamaica, Kamaal Jarrett, the Founder of Hillside Harvest, was taught to appreciate the simple things in life. Later, when his parents were deciding where in the United States to establish roots, they settled on Milton, Massachusetts, a small town nestled between Boston and the Great Blue Hill mountain range. Growing up, Kamaal showed an inherent love for food; watching endless hours of PBS cooking shows and spending the summer hours with his Aunt Elaine in her Egleston Square bakery and Caribbean restaurant. As his passion for food grew, so did Kamaal’s appreciation for the two cultures that raised him. Exposing his family to traditional American dishes or cooking authentic Jamaican dishes for his friends became a normal routine. Today, we at Hillside Harvest strive to continue the tradition of introducing people to unique flavors and recipes. Our products are handcrafted. We aim to develop dynamic flavors through simple ingredients and provide you with premium sauces that enhance every dish and inspire you to share with those closest to you. |

Scotch Bonnet Pepper – named after the “Tammie” a bonnet style hat traditionally worn by Scottish men, which the pepper resembles. Scotch Bonnet is ubiquitous throughout the Caribbean and West Africa and prized for its heat and sweet flavor. Bathed in the spirit of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. A family recipe developed by mixologist Karl Franz Williams and inspired by his Grandfather, Uncle Waithley who lived his entire life on the enchanting island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Uncle Waithley's is dedicated to crafting small batch vintage beers that celebrate the art of brewing. A key advantage of being a small batch company is that our team gets to personally inspect every knob of ginger, root of turmeric, and scotch bonnet bell that passes through our kitchen. We take pride in preserving both a recipe and process that has been passed down with great care. When Karl’s father advised him to rest the ginger beer for a minimum of three days, his words were heeded, resulting in our unique vintage fermentation process. Every time we seal a cap, we ensure the flavor of Uncle Waithley’s gives a little history, personality, and passion in every bottle. At our roots, we are all about “The Vibe”. We believe in the power of a wicked rhythm, lyrics that we can sing out loud with our eyes closed, dance, style, and good company to create a positive, free-spirited atmosphere- a moment. My family and my health journey first began years ago when, out of necessity, my need to rethink food quickly became my passion. Looking at food labels and reading through miles of unpronounceable ingredients was very frustrating! But even more frustrating was finding that the so-called “healthy” food tasted more like cardboard than anything else. As my family and I taste-tested the limited variety available, thinking outside of the box, finding ways around mainstream ingredients, and claiming the freedom of eats n’ treats for my family quickly became my focus. Experimenting in the kitchen with simple, on hand and wholesome ingredients to recreate the beloved comfort foods and staples I had grown up with grew into gifting baggies of pre-filled ingredients for friends who’d requested them. You see, not only had I discovered that there was a real need for easy to make, family-friendly foods, but I quickly discovered that my success in the kitchen didn’t necessarily mean theirs. I wanted to create something everyone could make, no matter their skill set, that was consistently amazing! Thus CorEats Mixes was born! CorEats is a play on the word “core,” which Merriam Webster defines as “a central and often foundational part.” I couldn’t agree more, which is why the CorEats foundation is built on delicious and wholesome food that everyone can enjoy- Amazing food with NO hidden preservatives, free of gluten, grain, dairy, refined sugar, and soy. Food is one of life’s greatest joys- No matter your dietary preferences, nothing should hold you back from eating the foods you love! Rather, it just means you need to rethink how to make them!
