PastryBase is a woman-owned small business located in Richmond, VA, founded by Pastry Chef Jill Donaldson. We create all-natural, vegan and gluten-free Baking Mixes & Baking Kits which contain our mixes, unique pastry tools, and natural decorations such as sprinkles dyed with vegetable colorants and organic fondant; essentially, everything you need to bake a fun seasonal dessert in a box! Jill's passion for baking began with her grandmother Lilly, and after years in the food industry, she aimed to make baking accessible for everyone, regardless of skill level or dietary restrictions. |

We are a couple of busy moms from Columbus, Ohio who value whole ingredients, real food and quality time with our family & friends. We developed a line of all-natural flavor infused simple syrups, with the emphasis on simple, so we can balance those things we value most. Our inventive flavor combinations lend themselves to crafting delicious drinks with just a couple additional ingredients. Since we use all natural ingredients, separation often occurs, so shake them well before each use. ROOT 23 simple syrups also need to be refrigerated once opened and used within a month. ROOT 23 simple syrups have been available at local stores & farmers markets since June 2015. |
