At Askanya Chocolates, We Stand For: Made by Women, Made for Health-Conscious Chocolate Lovers, Made by 3,000 Local Farmers. Our Haitian chocolate bars are made with all natural ingredients. We strive to reach a win-win solution for chocolate lovers and our Haitian farmers. We work with local farmers in Haiti to plant, grow and harvest our cacao. We pay them 2 to 3 times the going rate, a real living wage, for their crops. We make 100% local Haitian chocolate while paying local farmers well. The best part? All our chocolates are 100% handcrafted by women. We create delicious and high quality chocolate that brings a smile to your face.
