Peacasa Snacks
Peacasa Snacks logo
Snacks Victor grew up between Ontario and the South of France and always dreamed of bringing the best parts of the Mediterranean food culture to Canada. Aaron grew up near Toronto and was obsessed with experimenting in the kitchen to make healthier versions of his favourite snacks. We met in University and after graduating, decided to go on an adventure to the heart of the Mediterranean. After 12 days traversing the mountains of Corsica on the GR20 trail, we visited a street market in the South of France. Victor introduced Aaron to a traditional snack enjoyed in the Mediterranean for centuries: a delicious wood-fired crepe made from chickpeas and olive oil called 'Socca'. We agreed we had to bring it to Canada and started a journey to transform this chickpea snack into a delicious chip. We spent a year experimenting with hundreds of different recipes and sold the chips at farmers markets in Toronto. Chip manufacturers told us that they couldn't make chips out of chickpeas without adding rice, corn, or potatoes, so we decided to open our own manufacturing plant to make them our way. Peacasa is a deliciously light and crispy chip made from chickpeas. Join the adventure to make chickpeas into the best snacks in North America. Quality Affordable peacasa.com
Farm Girl
Farm Girl logo
Cereals From Farm to Table.... Born on an Ontario farm, Farm Girl fuses the purity of the farm-to-table concept of freshness with the benefits of high-quality ingredients. In just a couple of years, we’ve grown from a two-person team in a Toronto basement to one of Canada’s top selling and fastest growing brands. Our secret? Staying true to what we believe in: that good food can make a difference, every day. To get to where we are now, we had to make a few changes. Our basement bakery has since transformed into a Michelin Star kitchen and expansive Manufacturing plant. Our cereals were only an idea and now they’re a fully realized product line. But, what hasn’t changed is our love for nutritious foods that don’t compromise on taste. Our mission at Farm Girl is simple: to get young people excited about choosing healthier options that fuel their growth, and for adults to not compromise on taste when it comes to seeking their nutrition. Around here, we don’t believe that healthy and yummy foods are exclusive. From our table, to yours. Sustainability Affordable farmgirlcereal.com
Stellar Eats
Food From a young age, our founding female team noticed that we were inundated with damaging messages that told us the purpose of eating nourishing foods was to look a certain way. We felt overwhelmed by the healthy products being marketed to us as 'skinny', 'guilt-free', 'flat-tummy' or other words that make healthy eating all about how you look. This focus on appearance is so detrimental to the impressionable young population. We want to change the conversation around health food to make it empowering as opposed to guilt-driven and we believe there’s an opportunity for brands like us to rewrite this damaging narrative. We’re creating delicious flavour and perfect texture using 8 (or less) real food ingredients because we want you to enjoy your favourite foods and feel amazing.
