Sizzle Sauce![]() |
Food & Beverage | Our story begins when we left city life behind to live a more peaceful existence on our 50 acre farm in the Beaver Valley. Combining our passions for food and music, we set out to create a life we could share with family and friends. Through the years, these passions have taken us on many adventures, culminating in 2016 with the creation of Quiet Valley Sauce and Vine. We had been serving Greg’s Sizzle Sauce to family and friends for years. Each time we did, they all said 'you really need to sell this!'. We put it to the test by serving it at our wedding in 2015. The feedback was great and gave us the final push to take it to market. We started at the Collingwood Farmers’ Market in 2016 and haven’t looked back. The success of Sizzle can be traced back to the many years Greg spent in his commercial kitchen carefully crafting a taste experience that would enhance-not mask-the natural flavour of your food. As for the 'vine' part of Quiet Valley Sauce and Vine, we are patiently watching our 5 acres of vines mature and will be ready for market in 2023. | Quality | Affordable | sizzlesauce.ca

Peacasa Snacks![]() |
Snacks | Victor grew up between Ontario and the South of France and always dreamed of bringing the best parts of the Mediterranean food culture to Canada. Aaron grew up near Toronto and was obsessed with experimenting in the kitchen to make healthier versions of his favourite snacks. We met in University and after graduating, decided to go on an adventure to the heart of the Mediterranean. After 12 days traversing the mountains of Corsica on the GR20 trail, we visited a street market in the South of France. Victor introduced Aaron to a traditional snack enjoyed in the Mediterranean for centuries: a delicious wood-fired crepe made from chickpeas and olive oil called 'Socca'. We agreed we had to bring it to Canada and started a journey to transform this chickpea snack into a delicious chip. We spent a year experimenting with hundreds of different recipes and sold the chips at farmers markets in Toronto. Chip manufacturers told us that they couldn't make chips out of chickpeas without adding rice, corn, or potatoes, so we decided to open our own manufacturing plant to make them our way. Peacasa is a deliciously light and crispy chip made from chickpeas. Join the adventure to make chickpeas into the best snacks in North America. | Quality | Affordable | peacasa.com
