An idea that was brought to life by two friends on the dance floor at a festival, sharing our love of Yerba Maté. We contemplated why there was a distinct lack of low sugar, non-alcoholic beverages that contained natural energy with real health benefits made with organic ingredients. We came to the realisation that not many people in Australia knew of the magical South American herb - Yerba Maté. So why not create a new type of energy drink to share with the Australian market. One that was all natural, organic, low sugar, naturally caffeinated, and most importantly, really tasty!! Our first mission: Find the best quality, sustainable and ethically sourced Organic Yerba Maté. Our next mission: To turn those amazing tea leaves into a tasty, natural energy drink with no added caffeine or horrible tasting sweeteners. We found that by cold brewing, we lock in all the nutrients and retain the high levels of caffeine from the Yerba Maté leaf. Though we had no idea of the mammoth task ahead of us. Countless trials and Yerba Maté down the drain, an exploding brewery and not to mention long COVID delays… All this to make the perfect energy drink. So here we are, 2 years later - We have an amazing range of ACO certified organic teas, Two sparkling organic Yerba Maté bevvies made from nothing but nature. We also teamed up with Rainforest Rescue to produce eco-friendly accessories and to help raise money and awareness about regenerating rainforests! |

Being a full time stay-at-home Dad, with a passion for great-tasting, nutritious, quick to prepare food. Pasta was the perfect food. I started making pasta at home 10 years ago, my family loved it and so did I. I used only the freshest “true” free-range eggs and the best flour I could get my hands on. I started making big batches and freezing it so I had a quick dinner option when things were busy. Then one day my beloved (yet small) pasta machine decided it had had enough. Searching on the internet, I found a small 40-year-old commercial machine for sale. I wanted it. I got it home and started churning out more pasta than I would ever need. I gave lots away, everyone loved it. They said “you should sell this stuff, it’s great!” I said “No way, I don’t have time for that.” Famous last words.... Here we are 10 years on, having relocated from my back shed to a factory, supplying pasta for you and your family to enjoy and I love it! For a number of years at Wild Nectar we have been working away at beekeeping and honeymaking, focusing on providing pollination services and producing many tonnes of 100% Australian local honey and Organic honey each year. As our passion for raw honey grew we decided it was time to make a change to bring the methods we were using for cold extracted honey and sell to consumers under our own brand, Wild Nectar honey. We have a small team of passionate apiarists who tend to our bees year-round, working to follow the seasons and flora, to produce the best quality pure honey the pristine environment of the Australian bush gives us. Australia’s variety of flora and the local honey that comes from our native plants is absolutely unique in the world. We are driven by a passion for beekeeping, and the incredible locations we work in. Our raw honey is pure, unadulterated gold and we are proud to produce it ourselves, taking care in every step of the process from bush to honey bottle. Our honey is raw, and cold extracted from the hive. We simply strain it to remove wax and any hive or plant debris. This minimal processing keeps this unique, Australian honey in its most natural state, retaining its key enzymes and beneficial properties. As a result of the cold extracted honey remaining raw and unpasteurised, it may crystallise. This is an indicator of pure, unprocessed raw honey, and can be minimised by gently placing the honey jar in warm water. |
