Headquartered in Austin, JOYRIDE Sweets was established in 2022 by Founder Tyler Merrick with the mission to provide better-for-you candy that is vegan, low sugar, low carb, and non-GMO. In 2024, YouTube sensation Ryan Trahan joined the small but mighty JOYRIDE team as Co-Owner and Chief Creative Officer. In collaboration with Merrick, Trahan spearheaded product development, packaging, and merchandise creation to innovate the candy category and bring JOYRIDE Sour Strips to the market. JOYRIDE is revolutionizing the candy experience by offering delicious, flavorful candy made with real ingredients (read: zero junk), no artificial additives, a commitment to good-for-you fiber, and less sugar than leading brands. |
